Introducing Rahkel Dixon, a visionary photographer from the vibrant streets of Atlanta, Georgia. At the age of 20, Rahkel's journey in photography began, marked by an innate passion for capturing the essence of Black creativity and the natural artistry inherent in Black people.
May 2024, Rahkel proudly walked the stage at Fisk University, where she obtained her bachelor's degree in marketing, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She is now pursuing her Master of Fine Arts in Photography at Savannah College of Arts and Design at the Atlanta campus. Her academic achievements serve as a testament to her dedication and excellence in all endeavors.
In late 2022, Rahkel embarked on her photography career, founding Kel Kreated on December 12, 2022. Rahkel is a self-taught photographer. Through Kel Kreated, Rahkel endeavors to showcase the depth and beauty of Black creativity, celebrating the rich tapestry of culture and identity that defines her community.
Beyond her focus on Black creativity, Rahkel finds inspiration in the urban landscape, particularly through street photography. Her lens captures the captivating interplay between architecture and humanity, revealing the hidden beauty of everyday life.
